Bill Cibulas is an investment advisor for Capital Investment Advisors (CIA) and a member of the CIA Investment Committee. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Bill provides individual portfolio management services and advises clients on a variety of other financial decisions.
Prior to joining CIA he operated his own law firm and worked with the CPA accounting firm Capital Accounting & Tax. By leveraging his previous experience as a tax and estate attorney he is able to provide a comprehensive approach to financial planning that helps ensure his clients’ investment, estate, and tax strategies support one another. His client base includes both business professionals and retirees.
Bill is wholly dedicated to his clients and accommodating their needs; whether that means meeting before or after normal business hours or traveling to a client’s home.
In 2008, Bill obtained his J.D. from Albany Law School, Union University, in Albany, New York. In 2005, he earned a B.S.B.A. degree in Finance from [The] Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Bill is also a Certified Asset Protection Planner (CAPP™).
You’ll often find him with his wife Megan, his son Joe, and two dogs. Bill enjoys playing golf, going on jogs with his larger dog, Phil, cooking out on a nice day, and watching his alma mater’s Buckeyes on a fall football Saturday.
