Ben Ezrine, CFP®, CPWA® is an Investment Advisor for Capital Investment Advisors (CIA). As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Ben works with clients ranging from young families to retirees to develop comprehensive financial plans tailored to their individual goals, including savings, investment, insurance, tax, and estate considerations.
Ben has also earned the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) certification, an advanced professional designation focused on serving the complex needs of high-net-worth families. To earn the CPWA® certification, he completed coursework in Wealth Management Theory & Practice through the Yale School of Management and passed a comprehensive examination covering 11 core topics, including planning for closely held businesses, applied behavioral finance, charitable giving, estate planning, and wealth transfer.
Ben graduated with a B.A. in Corporate Communications from Elon University and earned an M.B.A in Finance from the University of Denver Daniels College of Business. Prior to joining CIA, he spent 11 years at E*TRADE (now part of Morgan Stanley) in Atlanta as a Senior Financial Consultant, and 4 years with AXA Equitable in Boston as a Financial Consultant, where he worked with families to focus on retirement planning and wealth management strategies.
Ben currently lives in North Buckhead with his wife, Jessica, and their two sons Max and Zach. His free time is filled with family activities, golf, and cheering on his hometown Kentucky Wildcats. Ben gives back, in part, by serving on the board for a local non-profit, Bagel Rescue.
