About
Trevor Payne is an Investment Associate with Capital Investment Advisors in the firm’s Atlanta office. He supports advisors and families by providing financial planning analysis, supporting portfolio construction and ongoing research, and helping deliver clear, comprehensive plans aligned with each client’s long-term goals and lifestyle.
Trevor graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Financial Planning and a minor in Consumer Economics. He is working toward completing the requirements for financial planning certification. Additionally, Trevor is an Investment Adviser Representative, having passed the Series 65 exam. Prior to joining Capital Investment Advisors, he gained experience in wealth management, volunteer tax preparation, and financial coaching. He has also served as a mentor for the University of Georgia Financial Planning Academy.
Originally from Augusta, Georgia, Trevor now lives in Marietta. Outside of work, he enjoys strength training, swimming, trying new restaurants in the area, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves.
