Matt Lane is an investment advisor and the Atlanta Advisor Lead for Capital Investment Advisors (CIA). He is passionate about developing deep personal relationships with the families he serves, and ultimately delivering peace of mind to them. He accomplishes this in a variety of ways, including regular meetings and communications, diving deeply into the goals and objectives of the family, and ultimately devising a strategy that aligns with what has been discussed and discovered.

Matt dove into the world of finance after a career in baseball. He was always drawn to investing and opened his personal brokerage account after receiving his first earnings from the Chicago White Sox. It was a natural transition into the role of Investment Advisor, where he was able to leverage his knowledge to help others.

After receiving student-athlete scholarships at both Mississippi State and Tulane University, Matt was drafted by the Chicago White Sox. After several years of working as a professional athlete, he hung up his cleats to pursue his other interests and continue his education at Kennesaw State. He currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia, where he likes to coach and give lessons to local youth baseball teams. If not on a baseball field, you can find him on the putting green.
