Joe Trapani is the Chief Technology Officer for Capital Investment Advisors (CIA) in our Atlanta office. He is a technology leader who’s focused on building modern, AI-enabled platforms and supporting teams in developing high-impact solutions. His experience spans enterprise architecture, cloud transformation, data platforms, and generative AI.
Prior to his current role, Joe has led large engineering organizations, developed scalable AI systems for internal and customer-facing use cases, and implemented automation strategies that improve operational efficiency and business outcomes. Most recently, in recognition of his work driving technology innovation in the housing and mortgage technology space, he was named a 2024 and 2025 Tech Trendsetter by HousingWire.
Joe earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Florida Atlantic University. He combines deep technical expertise with a practical approach to adoption, bringing extensive experience collaborating with globally distributed teams to deliver results at scale.
Originally from PA, Joe spent most of his life in South Florida before moving to the Atlanta area in 2018. He enjoys playing and attending softball activities with his two daughters, is an avid board game enthusiast, and is a devoted Atlanta Braves fan.
