James Horn is a Transformation Analyst for Capital Investment Advisors (CIA) in our Tampa location. He is passionate about investment strategy, financial planning, and helping clients work toward their goals up to and through retirement.

James received his bachelor’s degree from Western Governors University. His prior professional experience includes time with Fisher Investments, Merrill Lynch, and Northwestern Mutual in client-facing roles. He also served in The United States Marine Corps as an Infantry Assaultman Squad Leader. 

James lives in Lutz, FL, with his wife, 3 children, and two dogs- Maverick and Goose. He is an avid football fan and spends his Sundays rooting for the New York Giants. He enjoys spending time with his family outside of work whether that is at the Tampa Zoo, the golf course, or attending a Bucs or Lightning game.
