Mitch Reiner, CFP®, CIMA®

Mitch Reiner is a Managing Partner and an Investment Advisor with Capital Investment Advisors (CIA). He has been a proud member of the CIA team and family since 2005. He identifies three core pillars that define his time and life: family, business and community. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, Mitch works with his clients to pursue their investing goals and objectives while advising them on their comprehensive financial situations including business succession, estate planning and retirement planning. His client base includes clients of all ages and situations comprised mostly of retirees, young executives and business owners. As Managing Partner, Mitch is responsible for the day-to-day operations, as well as driving the strategic initiatives of the firm forward. Mitch also sits on the CIA Investment Committee. Mitch is a proud Georgia Bulldog, having graduated from the Terry College of Business at The University of Georgia with a BBA in Finance. He is also a Leonard Leadership Scholar, which is a competitive leadership program in the business school that selects only the top 30 students to collaborate with some of the greatest business minds in the nation. Mitch was chosen as an originating member of the Atlanta Hub of the Global Shapers organization. The Global Shapers is an organization established by the World Economic Forum which aims to engage the next generation of leaders who will shape the global agenda. His local Atlanta community commitment is evident as Mitch is a graduate of the LEAD Atlanta class of 2015, a graduate of the Leadership Atlanta class of 2019, and has also served on the board of multiple local community organizations.

Mitch is active in the Jewish community having served on the Hillels of Georgia Board of Directors. Mitch also supports his alma mater as he has previously served as an officer for the Terry College of Business Young Alumni Board and as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Student Managed Investment Fund for six years.

Mitch, his beautiful wife, Jenny, and their two great children, Micah and Ayla live in the Virginia Highland Neighborhood in Atlanta. You can find them strolling North Highland in search of dinner and ice cream on the weekends. In addition to spending time with his family, Mitch enjoys playing golf, fly fishing, staying in shape, attending Braves and Bulldogs games and grilling.
