About
Joseph McDonald is an Investment Advisor for Capital Investment Advisors (CIA) in our Dallas location. He is passionate about helping families prepare and transition into retirement, ultimately working towards the goal of becoming a happy retiree.
Originally from Stone Mountain, Georgia, Joseph graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business from Abilene Christian University. After completing his studies, Joseph moved to Texas, where he built a 25-year career at Fidelity Investments, spending the majority of his time as a Vice President/Financial Consultant at the Plano Investor Center.
Joseph currently resides in Frisco, TX, with his wife, Julie, who works as a Relationship Manager with Schwab in Westlake, TX. In their free time, Joseph and Julie enjoy spending time with family in Texas and West Palm Beach. They also love cruising, taking 1-2 trips each year.
