Jay Gardner is an Investment Advisor for Capital Investment Advisors (CIA) in our Atlanta office. He is passionate about helping families work towards financial success through holistic financial planning, with a goal of finding happiness in retirement.
Originally from Gainesville, Georgia, Jay graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Georgia Tech and later earned his Master’s in Accounting from Georgia State University, he also holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license. Jay now resides in East Cobb with his wife and son. Prior to joining CIA, Jay worked at ARC Burger, an 80-restaurant Hardee’s franchisee, as Senior VP of Finance, and previously spent 17+ years at Inspire Brands in various Finance and Accounting roles.
In his free time, Jay enjoys grilling and smoking meats, golf (though he admits he enjoys watching more than playing these days), and traveling. He also loves attending theater and symphony performances with his wife. As a devoted Georgia Tech football fan, Jay was a season ticket holder for an impressive 23 years!
