About
Bill Skiles is an Investment Advisor for Capital Investment Advisors (CIA) in our Colorado office. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and is passionate about working with clients as they transition into retirement.
Bill joined the military out of high school and spent 6 years in the Army Reserve. He graduated from the University of Missouri where he studied personal financial planning. Prior to joining CIA, Bill spent the last 7 years working at Personal Capital and Empower. Originally from Missouri, Bill moved to Colorado in 2016 with his wife Skyler, Golden Retriever (Ralph), and Chihuahua mix (Ted). He currently lives in Westminster, Colorado with Skyler and they recently welcomed their first daughter Birdie. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, camping, hiking, and watching the St. Louis Cardinals, Blues, and Missouri Tigers.
