Connor is a Partner and the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) at Capital Investment Advisors (CIA). Since joining the firm in 2015 immediately after earning his BBA in Finance from Kennesaw State University, Connor has played an integral role in shaping CIA’s investment philosophy and portfolio management strategy.

As CIO, Connor leads the firm’s Investment Committee, the group responsible for setting overall asset allocation and investment direction. He works closely with CIA’s investment team to oversee the firm’s research process, combining a top-down macroeconomic perspective with bottom-up security-level analysis to identify both broad trends and targeted opportunities in the global markets. This approach to in-house research directly informs the selection and management of the firm’s investment strategies and plays a critical role in shaping the portfolios of CIA’s families.

In addition to his role at CIA, Connor is also a Co-Host of Money Matters along with Wes Moss and Jeff Lloyd, a weekly radio show on WSB Radio in Atlanta. The program covers a range of financial topics—from retirement planning to investment strategy—and helps listeners make informed decisions about their financial futures.

Connor’s professional focus is matched by his dedication to his family and personal interests. He and his wife, Katie, live in Cumming, Georgia with their two daughters, Olivia and Poppy. Outside the office, Connor enjoys playing guitar and staying active—recently embracing tennis as one of his core pursuits. His passion for music and commitment to family life reflect the balance he brings to both his personal and professional endeavors.
