Joel Dean, CFP®

Joel Dean, CFP® is Partner, Senior Investment Advisor, & Director of Wealth Management for Capital Investment Advisors (CIA). As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Joel helps clients ranging from young families to retirees create comprehensive plans encompassing their unique savings, investment, insurance, tax, and estate needs. His work as Partner and Director of Wealth Management shapes the long-term strategy for serving families at CIA.

Joel graduated with a BS in Finance from the E.J. Ourso College of Business at LSU. A Georgia native, Joel returned to the Peach State to work for Stadion Money Management. After working his way from internal sales to Regional Associate, Joel moved into a client-facing role at Capital Investment Advisors.

Joel and his wife Adrienne live in Roswell with their sons Joseph, John Paul, and James. Mindful of their many blessings, he gives back by sitting on the board for the Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta and is an officer in the Knights of Columbus.
