Curt Klein is a Senior Advisor for Capital Investment Advisors (CIA), and was in fact the first financial advisor hired in 2001. Prior to joining CIA, he worked for Helton Asset Management, Henssler Asset Management and Advanced Financial Strategists, all Atlanta offices. Curt has been working in the fee-only financial planning arena for more than 20 years.

His specialties include individual stock selection and analysis, Federal Reserve Monetary Policy, and Global Macro Economic Trends. Curt brings a unique global perspective to the CIA investment committee as he has traveled extensively throughout Asia.

In addition to travel, Curt enjoys spending time with his wife Jane, an industrial and systems engineer, and sons Cameron and Daniel. Having grown up in the breadbasket of American, and hailing from St. Louis where he lived until moving to Atlanta in the early 1980s, Curt is also an avid ice hockey player. He played Division III hockey for Georgia State University. He continues to coach as a level III USA Hockey certified coach. Curt has also spent many years engaged with civic associations, career transition and work force training in the Marietta, Georgia area.
