Megan O’Rourke is the People Operations Manager for Capital Investment Advisors (CIA) in our Atlanta office. In this role, she works closely with the people operations team to ensure processes are running smoothly and the culture of our company is withheld.

Originally from Connecticut, Megan graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, and a Master’s in Public Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management from the University of Connecticut. Megan is also a Society for Human Resources Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). After completing her studies, she made the move to Georgia and currently resides in Smyrna with her husband Patrick and their dog, Leica. Prior to joining CIA, Megan worked at KEH, Inc. as the Human Resources Manager, where she managed several HR functions including designing and implementing HR policies and programs, leading the talent acquisition strategy, overseeing performance management and employee relations, and promoting an inclusive work environment.

In her free time, Megan enjoys reading romance and fantasy books, listening to music, exploring local coffee shops and bookstores, baking, spending quality time with her friends and family, and going for walks with her dog, Leica.
