Matt Donley is a Business Development Associate for Capital Investment Advisors (CIA) in our Phoenix office. He is passionate about investment strategy, financial planning, and helping clients work toward their goals up to and through retirement. In his role, Matt helps connect new families looking to work with CIA with one of our advisors to assist them on their retirement journey.

Originally from Upland, California, he now calls Gilbert, Arizona home and is a proud University of Arizona Wildcat. Prior to joining CIA, Matt spent over 5 years at Vanguard and brings a strong foundation to the team.

Outside of work, he’s an avid guitarist who has shared the stage with musicians from Heart and Jackson Browne’s band, loves spending time out on Lake Powell, and is a devoted Top Gun fan (his son’s middle name is Maverick!).
