About
Irene Nguyen, J.D., is the Senior Compliance Associate for Capital Investment Advisors (CIA) in our Atlanta office. In her role, she supports CIA’s compliance program and works with teams across the organization to help navigate regulatory requirements and manage compliance risk.
Prior to joining CIA, Irene spent four years with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), where she conducted regulatory examinations of broker-dealers, with a focus on investment banking and capital markets activities. She earned her Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law with a Certificate in Financial Markets Compliance and is a member of the State Bar of Georgia.
Irene is a California native, originally from Garden Grove, but currently resides in Midtown Atlanta. Outside of work, you can find her knitting, painting, and shopping vintage. She also enjoys trying new recipes while her cats play (or fight) nearby.
