Michael De La Garza is an investment advisor with Capital Investment Advisors (CIA). Michael started his career in the financial services in 2001, and prior to joining CIA, worked as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch in Denver.

Michael offers financial strategies for families, retirees, and business owners by focusing on their goals, objectives, and potential concerns. Michael follows a goals-based wealth management process built on time-tested investment principles while allowing the flexibility to adapt to a rapidly changing economic climate.

Michael grew up in a small West Texas town and attended the University of Colorado in Boulder, where he graduated with degrees in Economics and Business.

Michael lives in Denver with his wife Charlotte, son Oliver, and their two dogs Rosco and JoJo. In his spare time, Michael enjoys spending time in the mountains, cheering for the CU Buffs, and coaching Oliver’s soccer team.  Michael also volunteers with Food For Thought, Junior Achievement Rocky Mountain and Tennyson Center for Children.
