Erica Ruggiero, J.D. is the Estate Planning Strategist for Capital Investment Advisors, based in our Atlanta office. In this role, she provides education and guidance on tax-efficient wealth and estate planning strategies. She is dedicated to working with our families’ advisors and personal attorneys to help develop thoughtful wealth transfer plans.

Prior to joining Capital Investment Advisors, Erica was a partner at her previous firm, where she focused on translating her clients’ goals into efficient estate and wealth transfer plans. Erica earned her undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina and her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School. She is a member of the Georgia Bar Association.

Erica grew up in Alpharetta and currently lives in Sandy Springs with her cavapoo, Winston. In her free time, you can find Erica trying new restaurants, staying active, and spending time with family and friends. An avid sports fan, Erica can always be found cheering for the Gamecocks!
