ATLANTA – November 21, 2024 – Capital Investment Advisors, a $6+ Billion Atlanta-based RIA firm, announced today that it has named Robert Sanders as President of the company. In his new role, Sanders will direct the firm’s five offices – Atlanta, Dallas, Phoenix, Denver, and Tampa – and lead the company’s approximately 100 employees (as of October 2024).

Sanders started with Capital Investment Advisors in 2015, initially joining the company as a research analyst. Since that time, Sanders has become a firm partner, Chief Investment Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and now company President. Prior to joining Capital Investment Advisors in 2015, Sanders spent over a decade with RBC Capital Markets and Prudential Securities as a research analyst with a primary focus on the consumer space. Originally from Columbus, Mississippi, Sanders holds a BA in Economics from Sewanee: The University of the South.
