Q : I have a pension, Social Security, 2 small IRAs and a 401(K). My wife has a SEP IRA and a traditional IRA. Her total investments are approximately $230,000. My IRAs and 401(K) total approximately $100,000. My concern is that I am 74, retired and my wife is 59. I would like to have a plan for my wife should she survive me. I am still working and contributing to my 401(K). Would we qualify as a client or should we look at your model portfolios? Thanks for any advice you can offer.
A : Thanks so much for reaching out with your question!
We’d be more than happy to help you and your wife out with your financial game plan. From an investment standpoint, our model portfolios would make the most sense given the low-cost structure and automatic re-balancing. The conversations surrounding your financial plan would be similar in either scenario.
Please let me know if you’d like to schedule a one hour consultation and we’ll get something on the calendar.
