Wes Moss is Executive Vice President/Chief Investment Strategist of Capital Investment Advisors (CIA). He works directly with clients providing investment strategy and guidance to help them meet their financial objectives.
Moss began his career at Prudential Securities as a financial advisor. In 2003 he joined UBS Financial Services as Vice President – Investments and became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. Moss joined CIA in 2009.
A passion for teaching has made Wes Moss a fixture in the financial media. Moss is the host of Money Matters, a live financial advice show heard on Atlanta’s NEWS/TALK 750 WSB-AM every Sunday from 9am to 11am.
He has written two books, Starting from Scratch (Kaplan) and Make More, Worry Less (FT Press) and is a regular guest on CNBC and the Fox Business Network. Moss is also a personal finance columnist for the New York Daily News Money section.
Wes Moss holds a degree in economics from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He is married and has two children. He enjoys tennis, sailing, and spending time with his family.
Capital Investment Advisors is an Atlanta-based fee-only investment management firm that specializes in retirement income planning. CIA currently manages more than $600 million in assets, making it one of Atlanta’s largest fee-only investment firms, according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
