Mitch Reiner is an investment advisor as well as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Investment Officer for Capital Investment Advisors. Mitch has been a proud member of CIA since 2005. Prior to joining CIA, Mitch worked with UBS Financial Services both in their Atlanta and New York offices.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Mitch works with his clients to accomplish their investing goals and objectives as well as advising them on their comprehensive financial situations including business succession, estate planning, and retirement planning. Mitch’s client base includes clients of all ages and situations comprised mostly of retirees, young executives, and small business owners.
As Chief Operating Officer, Mitch is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the firm.
As Chief Investment Officer, Mitch reviews the firm’s recommended investments on a daily basis and coordinates the CIA Investment Committee. Mitch focuses a large portion of his time on actively monitoring our income strategies, including closed end funds and exchange traded funds.
Mitch is a proud Bulldog graduating from the Terry College of Business at The University of Georgia with a BBA in Finance. Mr. Reiner is also a Leonard Leadership Scholar, which is a competitive leadership program in the business school that selects only the top 30 students to collaborate with some of the greatest business minds in the nation.
In his free time, Mitch enjoys playing golf, staying in shape, attending Braves and Bulldogs games, and spending time with his wife, Jenny and Golden Doodle, Clayton. Mitch is also passionate about using his financial and leadership skills to make a difference in his community. He is active with the Atlanta Center for Self Sufficiency where he teaches courses on money management and building a budget to homeless citizens that are actively seeking employment. Mitch is also a member of the Terry College of Business’ Young Alumni Board. The group aims to keep graduates engaged in their college and school by networking and attending business school alumni events. Other activities that Mitchell is active in include Leadership Sandy Springs, Special Citizens Christmas Party and Heritage Sandy Springs.
