Michael Reiner is the co-founder and President of Capital Investment Advisors. Mr. Reiner has been in the securities industry for more than 25 years, helping his clients achieve their financial goals and objectives.
Reiner graduated from the University of Georgia in 1974 with a BBA degree in Finance, special areas of study included portfolio management and investment banking. Michael worked as Vice President of an asset based lending group for a top 5 major financial services firm for 13 years. After leaving the bank Michael and partner, Woody Alpern, joined together and formed Capital Investment Advisors, Inc. and Capital Benefits Administration, Inc.
Michael’s roles within Capital Investment Advisors include running the day-to-day operations of the company as well as managing his client’s investments. His client base is focused on small business owners, retirees, and corporate executives. He offers his clients many years of experience in the financial services industry.
In his free time, Michael enjoys golf, tennis and fishing along with spending time with his wife of more than 25 years, Shelly. Michael is the father of two boys, Mitchell and Matthew who both work at Capital Investment Advisors. Michael is a frequent guest on Money Matters Radio Show offering his expertise on financial matters. Reiner is also a frequent guest speaker for many non-profit groups in and around the Atlanta area.
Michael has been listed in the Atlanta Business Chronicle's top Who's Who for five years in a row.
